muwage is what bwengs us togeder today, luv twue luv.

Oh that wonderful day that every little girl dreams of!

Her Wedding day.

I just recently got married to the man of my dreams. It, and it was the day of my dreams because I got to marry the man of my dreams.

The sun was shinning and we were so happy. Sitting next to him in the temple was amazing, I have never felt that good about anything in my life. I was feeling great. It was about this moment when I looked over to Tyler (My now Husband.) And realized that he had a total deer in the headlights look!! He was freaking out man! I thought for sure that I would be the one freaking out about the huge decision that I was about to make. ( I mean come on this was for eternity!) But I was a cool as a cucumber. Which was grateful for, I was also grateful that I exited the temple with a husband and not still single. All went well and we were married for time and all eternity in the most perfect temple sealing that I could ever imagine.

After the ceremony, I went down to the Brides room to beautify myself. (and to reapply mascara after crying some of it off, it was such an awesome moment for me!) I get everything all done, My dress is on my boquet is in hand. My hair and makeup look flawless, Im pretty much a princess here! I look good!

I walk out and wait for my dashing Husband, only he never came. It was too late for him to ditch out, the deed was already done, we were together forever. Eventually someon went in to check on him, and he came out in just his shirt and slacks, no army uniform on and he said to me. "I forgot my pants." HA! Of course, well, we went out just like that and had a grand old time and took pictures with our families. I then made him drive home and change into his nice gray suit so we could take some really nice pictures. When we got all done, he was climbing into the car and ripped the crotch out of his pants!! Oh my goodness we laughed so hard I almost peed my pants!! It was so funny! He went the rest of the day with a whole in his pants. Good thing no one noticed.

The reception was perfect and went off without a hitch! Everything was gorgeous, our families worked so hard to pull this crazy wedding together. (We found out that we were going to be able to get married on the first of July.) My cake was gorgeous and perfect, the decortaions were amazing. I don't have pictures of it yet, but I will and I wll post them. I just thought that I would give you all an update of how things went down.

I have been married for 2 and a half weeks now and it has been amazing! I have the most amazing Husband in the world!! YAY TEAM! :) Until next time Love, the new Mrs. Reist.

Things that happen.

Embarrassing things happen, we can't avoid them, here are a few priceless ones, not saying that they ever happen to me. I just know that they happen.

1- You are walking somewhere with a friend, just chatting up a storm. When you start to feel this weirdy vibe coming from the person next to you. You look over and realize that the person standing next  you isn't really the person you thought they were, but a total and complete stranger!  Of course this results in an awkward stare from them and a foolish blush from you. So, where is your friend? They saw something cool and stopped walking. Not bothering to think that maybe you would have enjoyed to see the cool thing too. Instead, they leave you to the mercy of the strange person who happened to be lassoed into your ramblings about life. Uhh...sorry.

2- You know when you really have to go to the bathroom, really really bad so you run into the first stall available? Only upon finishing, do you realize that there isn't any toilet paper! What do you do? Do you ask the kind patron in the stall next to you to "Spare a square?" breaking all rules of bathroom etiquette? Or do you buck it up and drip dry? (Please note, drip drying is not always sufficient...) Good luck with that friend, now you are wishing you were more like your Granny and carried tissues in your purse. Next time, right?

3- Trying to be discrete when letting a little toot slip by only to have one of two things happen, and in some occasions both. A) It isn't a little toot and there is not way that sucker was ever going to squeak by. It might as well have rolled out the welcoming mats. B) It squeaks by, but it is one of those Silent but deadly ones, that makes every one's eyes water. Yeah, just don't let it go.

4- The following account is a true story, which did not happen to me, but I find it very funny. So you are talking to your friend, Heather, on the phone about the weird, kinda' creepy guy who is attempting to date you. You notice that this said guy is trying to call you on the other line. So, you launch into a whole discourse on how you don't want to talk to him and you think that he are weird. asking Heather "Heather, what should I do! How to I get rid of him?!" only to have the reply come from a male voice "Ummm, this isn't Heather." What! Little did you know, Heather's phone had died and in losing her call, your phone picked up his call...uh...awkward. Well, I guess you just got your wish, and you learned a very valuable lesson, don't talk smack on people!

5- You are walking across campus, when you see a boy you find to be very attractive. He looks at you and waves. You smile and wave back, resulting in him looking at you like you are a total idiot as he walks past you to give the girl behind you a hug...ouch.

Anyway, life is good. I realize that I haven't updated my blog lately. The summer is almost over! I can't believe it! Ugh! time goes by way to fast. My Job at SWCA Environmental consultants is almost done and I am sad. I have loved working for them. Seriously! The people are great. Coming to work everyday isn't too bad. I will be moving back up to Logan pretty soon. I am looking for a job up there, so if any of you have any leads, give me a holler! I would really appreciate it!

Adjusting to real life instead of mission life has been an adventure. I have come to the conclusion that life is just hard no matter what you are doing. President Monson was right, we all need to just enjoy the journey, cause there is no greener pasture than the one we are in!

Have a good week! love ya all!

Eleven sure fire ways to get an "I do"

Thinking of proposing soon? Here are some great ideas I found on a web site today:

• Put her name as "WIFE" on the bowling machine.
• If your partner uses medically prescribed foot cream, put the ring somewhere near that.
• Have 300 custom-made paintballs with wedding rings inside, then spend the day surprise-shooting your future spouse.
• Dress up like a giant bug and say "Be my spouse, you louse!"
• Mail yourself to China, then mail yourself to your significant other's office. It's important to mail yourself to China first for that realistic, well-traveled box look.
• Wait until she's giving an important presentation at work and interrupt the meeting. Tell her "It's your job or me forever."
• Write a Top 40 song where you propose to your significant other in the chorus. This only works if he or she has a nose for popular music.
• Swallow the ring and get your significant other to take you to the hospital so when they pump your stomach he or she will get a surprise.
•You could probably bungee jump off a tall building and slip it on your significant other's finger while she or he is walking underneath without hurting anyone.
• Kidnap the local varsity football quarterback and impersonate him during the big game. After taking a snap with a special ball you attached a wedding ring to, throw it at her on the sidelines and say "Marrying me would be a slam dunk." Also, win the game.
• Or, you could use the text box at the bottom of a coupon website. Mildred, we have walked through all the stars in the solar system for years now. You were the one by my side when I couldn't stand by my side on my own two feet. For all the days of my years, you filled my insides with emotion and my outside with delight. Will you make me the most full man in the world by being my legal wife? Thanking you in advance, The Man Who Writes These.

Oh my goodness right? I when I saw these I started to read them seriously, I was totally weirded out, until I realized that they were a joke. Once I finally caught onto the sarcasam train I couldn't stop laughing! ? I hope you enjoyed them as much as I have!

Optional?

I take trax to and from work. (obviously, because if I go to work on trax, I must come home also.) Which in and of itself can be an adventure. But my company pays for trax and not for gas. So, free public transit it is!

The other day I was sitting there and I was reading their, "Thank you for..." sign. The very first one says "Shoes and shirt required." I didn't think much about it until I read it for a second time. (I obvioulsy need to find something more constructive to do while I am sitting on the train for 30 min everyday.) That is when I realized, pants are optional! So, what if I just got onto the train without any pants on...what would they do? I thought this was hilarious. could you imagine if people just got on the train in their skimpies? I seem to recall a New York city flash mob involving this once...

Any who. If you ever have the urge to wear just your underware on traxs they really can't do anything to you. They are just asking for it.

I hope you all have a good day. :)

SWCA, this is Helen...

This is how I answer the phone fifty billion times everyday. Do you want to know what I have noticed. People are hard to understand on the phone. When I ask them what their name is, it is like they purposely bring the phone closer to their mouths so that it is all mumbled and I can't hear a thing that they are saying. It makes things rather difficult...
Mmmm...the things we compost...

And here we have the green box

so, I walked into the break room my first week. (I have been meaning to blog about this for a while...) And I am eating my lunch, all alone, no big deal. When I look over to the recycling bins. (Okay, I work at an envorionmental consulting firm. Of course they are going to have recycling bins...) and I notice a green bin...then I read the sign above the green bin. it says. "SWCA is composting!!" Followed by a list of things that can be put in the compost box. WHAT THE! I have never worked in a place where there was intentional decay of waste products going on. What are we going to do with the compost when we are done? I hope that someone has a garden. As weird as this was to me. I have come to the conclusion that is is awesome! I love the fact that I work with a bunch of environmentalist who like to be kind to our earth. I think that it is even rubbing off on me! :)

Im not narsasitic!

Alright, so for my employment I work as a receptionist for an environmental consulting firm in Salt lake city. I love my job and I love the people I work with. The only down thing is that there is a lot of down time. Which, you know is not really a bad thing, it just gets kinda boring sometimes. To battle the boredom I often find myself doing an assortment of things to entertain myself. one of the things that I did this morning was Google myself...I know! It is so nerdy. But I was interested in finding out what was on line about me. I would like to share some of the things that popped up. (For the record nothing about me actually popped up...)

WE ARE DROPPING LIKE FLIES!!!

Helen Jean Wilson She passed away on 26 Jan 1936 in Land St Keith, Scotland. Helen Jean Wilson 1928 ~ 2011 Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, friend---Helen Jean Wilson, 82 passed away.
(What the random pictures of old women, these are the only pictures that came up...I'm diggin' it. At least all of the pictures are of attractive old women, if this is a common trend I will take it.)

I have always said that I have an old woman's name and this just goes to prove it! Funny story, while my Aunt Susan was in the states For my Granny Helen's funeral, she had my Granny's old cell phone number, which was to become my number once she had returned back home to Australia. I had given this number to one of my best friends with implicet instructions not to call me until after wednesday. Seeing as how this is the day I would have the phone. Well, she forgot and called the number on tuesday night and my Aunt answers and my friend asks for me. Well, my aunt has no idea what is really going on, and the connection is really bad. (I'm just throwing this out there, you can only understand about 1/3 of what my friend says when she is talking to you on her phone.) So my Aunt's reply? "ummm, I don't know how to tell you this but Helen is dead..." My friend freaked out! Ha Ha... In all honesty though I love my name and I am so so grateful that I was named after one of the most amazing people on the face of the planet. My Grandma was awesome and a huge example to me. So, although I share my name with tons of women over the age of 80, I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. This is my Grandma, who I was named after...She was amazing! And not too bad looking. Good genetics, I am really grateful for them!

It's Monday...again

So, I walk into work this morning and there is a huge sign on the fridge saying that we shouldn't use it because it is broken. I opened it up and turned it on...oh boy! Truth is, I cleaned the fridge on Friday and forgot to turn it back on. Oops. The super comical thing about this is not the fact that I left the fridge on. It is the fact that multiple people tried to "fix" the fridge over the weekend and none of them could figure out what the problem was. Hmmm...I work in an office with smart educated people who have their master and doctorate degrees, and none of them thought to see if the fridge was turned on. This was a common sense intelligence test, and everyone in my office failed...oh boy!

18 Months and a month extention later...

Oh my goodness. I am back in America but I am nowhere near home! I miss Latvija with all of my heart! WOW! If someone asked me to serve again in that tiny Baltic Country I would go again in a heart beat. I wish that I could share with you all everything that I experienced, but there is no possible way. I figured that my first blog entry back would be a good one to do a top ten list with. They for sure help things stay more organized in my head...(My mission by the way did not solve my randomness, nor my inability to focus...I am still a work in progress!) sorry that it has taken me so long to get back on here...truth be told I forgot my Gmail account name and so... I had to do some searching. But I am now back and ready to rock your worlds! HA! Ten of the reasons I loved my mission:

 1) I now understand that God our loving Heavenly Father. He loves all of us so much! He would do anything for us and has given everything for us. We are his work and his Glory! We are the reason he exists and truth be told, he needs us as much as we need him! Without us he would be without a job!

 2) Go to church every Sunday to renew the covenants that you have made with our Heavenly Father. The sacrament is what it is all about, it is how we retain a remission of our sins! Go to church and start your week with a clean slate! That is a gift that was given to us if we will just go to church and do it!

 3) Whoever said repentance was bad thing was a bad person. Repentance is the best! Oh my goodness! It is a blessing from our Heavenly Father and Savior to us. We will never be perfect and you know what? That is okay! Because our Savior, Jesus Christ already paid the price for our imperfections, so we don't need to carry around that burden! We have the amazing opportunity to give it over and try again. Does this mean we will be perfect and never do that same thing again, Ideally? Yes. Realistically? No, Sorry, but that is okay. Repentance is real! We need to be using it everyday! Not repenting is like not driving the Porsche you have in your garage, if you aren't going to use it, why did you buy it? USE IT! Just like driving a Porsche feels so good. (I am just imagining here, I unfortunately have not had this experience.) Repentance feels so good!

4)Read your scriptures everyday! Most of us have smart phones now, down load the Gospel Library and Read them on the go! You can read them during your lunch break at work, or during the commercial break. Honestly, the blessings you receive from this simple request from Heavenly Father will far surpass the plot in the T.V. show.

5)Say your prayers! We have this amazing privilege given to us, we get to talk everyday to the man who created the Earth, ummm, hello! Wouldn't most of us rearrange our schedule if the President of the United States wanted to talk to us, or if we were told we needed to call him everyday, morning and night and give him and update of our lives. I think that most of us wouldn't miss a morning or night. So, realize that God has given us the same invitation. He loves us and has commanded us to call him at least morning and night! Most of us have become far too casual in our relationship with God. We have pushed him to the side and turned him into a burden in our lives. Prayer is not a burden it is a privilege! USE IT! we can communicate to our loving heavenly Father through, and he longs to communicate with us. Morning and Night, on your knees, just do it!

 6) A smile can go a lot farther than you think. People have told me that I am a generally happy person and that I smile a lot. I never really thought about it honestly until I moved to a country where people were not generally happy and smiling was out of the norm. I stuck out like a cow in a burger joint! I also realized that smiling can bring someone from the depths of despair to the surface of hope. Everyone wants to know that there is at least one person out there who cares. 7) All you need is love! The gospel of Jesus Christ is all about love! So shouldn't we be all about love to. Don't be afraid to tell your family that you love them! I know it might be weird for some of you. (Oh trust me it was weird for some of the Latvians when I would just bust out with "Es Tevi Milu!" I love you! They thought it was way weird!) But, you know, did anyone of them have to question if I loved them or not? No! Because I told them! They knew it because they heard it and felt it! love can make all of the difference so love yourself, love your spouse, love your neighbor! But most of all love our Heavenly Father.

7)Sometimes, life is hard. No matter what kind of life you have, life is just plain hard! Everyone has trials and challenges. No one has the perfect life. So, just have faith, keep being a good girl or a good boy, remember your covenants and everything will work out for your good. (This is called enduring to the end.)

8) The temple is the house of God a place of love and beauty, a place where we can derive strength beyond our own! We are so blessed in American to have so many wonderful temples so close to us. The temple is in another country, across the Baltic sea in Latvija, and you know what? The members still went. They recognize the blessings that come from the temple and they know that they can't live without them. We too can learn this lesson and feel the sustaining strength of regular temple attendance.

9)Follow the promptings of the spirit! One time, Sister Kerr and I were knocking a dome (That is what the apartment buildings are called over there. It is Russian for house.) And it was just going horribly. I had never had so many people in one dome threaten to call the cops on me!It was crazy. I kept getting the feeling that we didnt' need to be there...but the thought of going outside was killer, it was so cold! BAH! so, we finished it and went home feeling horrible. So the Next night we were planning for the next day when I said to Sister Kerr "I'm sorry about that dome, I was starting to wonder while we were knocking it if we should have even been there." She looked at me and said " I had that exact same thought!" WHAT!? REALLY!? We could have saved ourselves so much heartache and sorrow if we had just listened and talked to each other about it. The spirit knows all things what we should do!

 10) Last of all I learned to love a people and a country and a language that I didn't even really know existed two years ago. (I mean I am sure that I learned about Latvija in some geography class at sometime in my life...) There is not a day that goes by where I do not think of my family there, where I do not long for the country and the rain and the rivers. I want to speak Latvian again. (Okay if you are Latvian and reading this, I know I need to get a skype account...I am working on it!) I want to teach the Gospel all the time again! I learned what it meant to lose yourself in the service of others and I loved it! I loved my mission! I am so grateful that I went! Never did I think that it would mean this much to me and never will I forget how much it has changed and impacted me. Ar milestibu, Helena

Pushing through when the hole is too small...

IS sometimes the only option. I leave on my mission in twenty days! AHHHHH! I can feel the opposition of the adversary in my life growing stronger every second of everyday! I know that a mission is where I need to be right now in my life. I am so excited to go and spread the Gospel to the people of Latvia! YAY! Life is an adventure. I am just trying to enjoy the ride!

I am so blessed that I grew up in a home where my mom stayed at home with us. Where I learned to cook and sew. Where, every fall, we all put on cut off sock tops and peel balanced tomatoes. So that the amazing creation of Italian stewed tomatoes can be made! Oh man! I love canning time! I am super glad that I got to be home during it one more time. It seems to always help with family relations!

You are who you choose to be...

I just got done watching the Iron Giant. Which is just a good movie! I love it!
It is a good one to help us remember that we are who we choose to be. There is no set destiny for any of us. Our choices and decisions are what define who we are and who we will become.

Isn't it funny how we can apply everything in our lives to the Gospel? I can't help but think that this is what agency is all about. WE make who we are. WE make our own choices. Which is the way the Lord wanted it to be! I love agency, it is the greatest gift that out Father in heaven has ever given to us. I am so grateful that I know I get to choose. I get to decide how my life is going to play out. My goal in this life and in the eternities is to have everlasting joy. I know that it my Heavenly Father's plan for me also!

I love life and I love the Gospel! GO TEAM! I know that with the Lord's help all things are possible and with him by my side I am undefeatable! Muwahahahahah!

Keep the faith! :) Love you all! Hels

"And I will be found of you..."

I was reading in the Ensign the other day when I came over the sweetest article that hit home. It was exactly what I needed to hear right now, at this time in my life. The article is talking about Jeremiah 29: 12-14. Most specifically the first line of chapter 14 when the Lord promises to the Jews that if they will "Search for [him] with all of [their] heart." he will be found of them. The article went on to describe how this young dad used to play Hide and seek with his young children. He wanted his kids to search for him, to seek after him. But he wanted them to find him easily, he wanted them to know that he was there, that when they went looking they would for sure know where he was. He said that he would sometimes hide in the same place, or leave a foot sticking out so they could obviously tell where he was hiding.

He likened this to us and our Lord. He wants us to come to him, to find him, to seek after him. We learn that as we look we will find him easily. He will be found of us. He is there for us to help us through our every trial and struggle. He loves us so much! I am so grateful that I have this knowledge!

There is a quote by President Hinckley that I love, I have it right by my mirror so I can read it everyday before I start my day it says
" It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. If you do your best, it will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. THE LORD WILL NOT FORSAKE US...If we will put our trust in him, if we will pray to him, if we will live worthy of his blessings, he will hear our prayers."

I love that quote and I know it is true. We are all Daughters and Sons of loving heavenly parents. Their love for us is infinite!

Love you all,
Hell Belle

EXPRESS!!!

Have you ever noticed that all Chinese restaurants are all about the EXPRESS! They are definitely capitalizing on America's need for speed. They also have a lot of buffet style restaurants, once again capitalizing on America's need for large quantities. Those Asians are so tricky! No wonder they are all wealthy. (Which is of course a generalization. I don't know if all Asians are wealthy, but a lot of them seem to be doing better off than I am!)

I know that was random, but it was a thought that I had while driving home from the design fabric store. I saw like twenty EXPRESS Asian food places. They all want us to know that they are really fast! YEAH! GO TEAM!

Random!

I'm back in Utah...which is good I suppose. My life is weird. I don't know. I went on this adventure the other night with a guy from work and he told me how he went on a date with this girl from Texas. Well, as it turns out, I was looking at his pictures on face book and it was Cammie Jo's cousin Paige! WHAT THE HECK! How random is that? Cammie Jo and I have had a pretty good laugh about the whole thing. What are the chances of that happening?

Anyway, that is my quick little story. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I have.

Hels.

Would you rater...

I have had a lot of time on my hands lately. Okay, lets just say I have had a lot of time to think lately. My hands have actually been really busy. But my brain has not been.

This has resulted in me playing the would you rather game with some friends via texting. (Because I am at work and they are not there with me or I probably wouldn't be thinking of such amazing would you rather questions.)

The most recent one has to do with the large amount of snails in the flower beds at SLCC. There are so many! For a long time I was just throwing them into the street. But watching them explode and then try to slime their way to the nearest area where they wouldn't be crushed by on coming cars, started to make me want to vomit. Really, I was feeling nauseous about the whole things. That is when I started to just throw them into my big bag of weeds and prunnings.

This got me thinking. If I were a snail, would I rather be flung into the road, to my certain painful and slow death, or would I rather be put into a hot moist bag with weeds and dead plants to die? I just don't know they are both awful fates.

I feel bad for the snails, because even though they are pests who eat all of the plants they are kinda cute...I know, gross, but have you ever really looked at a snail? With there cute little poke out eyes and their second set of antenna below those. (What are those for?) Do snails have mouths?

Anyway, I will continue to kill them, probably by the bag method because I can't stomach the throwing method.

I hope I won't be punished for all my killing. I often think of the snails rising up and causing a mutiny against the giant blond killer. Or I think of them having a sentry who Yells "RUN FOR YOU LIVES, SHE IS COMING!!!" Which is just funny because they are so slow! Oh, not to mention, it's not like snails have a huge mental capacity to organize themselves or even to know what is going on. HA HA, this job makes me feel like I'm five again.

It's raining men, HALLELUJAH!

I have started my new job at the Community College, for those of you who don't know I am now a gardener for them. Yay me!

I feel like I should write about my experiences, but there are so many of them that I can't write about them all. So this post is going another list post. Who knows how long it will be. There are a lot of crazy things going on.

1- I am one of three women, that means that I work with about thirty two men. Hence the name of the post. I have given a couple of them nick names since I don't know all of their real names. They are as follows:
I- Hottie McTottie Jake ( I obviously do know his name he is just
really cute)
II-Take a picture boy ( I can't tell if he is staring at me because
he thinks I am pretty or because he thinks I am funny looking
III-Mr. USU. (He grew up in Logan and has as much appreciation for Logan
and USU as I do. He is pretty funny)
That is all I have for now as far as the boy nick name goes. They all stare at me though, like they have never seen a young lady before. The other two women who work with me are forty five and forty two. so I am like fresh meat!

2- The lady I work with hardly speaks any English. This makes for an interesting day. She laughs at everything I say! I could tell her that my dog died and she would laugh.

3-I keep getting bitten by bugs. I look like the main chracter from a vampire movie. (Of course it can act...uh...)

Those are it for now...I don't know what else to think or write. My head hurts. I work ten hours a day three days a week. So I have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Which is way nice! More to come about my job later! :)

Squirrels, men in black, pirates and a dancing cow.

Alright, my blog post has nothing to do with the title that it in there. That is just what popped up when I started to write so I decided to keep it. SWEET! Ha Ha

As we all know I have had my moments of embarrassing things in my life. I just can't stay away from them. Sometimes I go through my many embarrassments just to make myself laugh. Good times, good times. As it turns out I have no need for friends, I have myself...uh...

Alright, so the latest hilarity in my life? Today I stole my nieces scooter, yes ladies and gentlemen her scooter. I have never ridden one before and I wanted to share the joy. I see people riding them all the time on campus. All the cool kids are obviously doing it.

Now, the picture in your head should be one of me rolling merrily down a hill, enjoying every second of it. I went down one hill and was attempting to use the momentum of that hill to get down the next one. I almost made it too, only one kick with my foot and the joy and happiness were going to start all over again! YAY! (It is important for you to picture my seven year old niece running after me this whole time, trying so hard to get her scooter back! I am a horrible Aunt...she wasn't using it when I took it!) I break over the crest of the hill and notice a happy couple walking hand in hand down the hill. I thought they for sure heard me since I was laughing like an evil villain, Muwahahahahahaha! No response from this happy couple, in fact they didn't move at all! This resulted in me taking drastic measures, I had to run off the side of the path! Dun, dun, DUN!

As I hit the edge of the grass I immediately knew it was a bad decision, the grass was so soft! The front tire of the scooter sunk in almost five inches and I was thrown over the top and slid almost six feet on my side. Resulting in grass stains all over me. As I look up to see who saw the whole thing happen, (noticing that the couple was still oblivious to everything that just went on around them, and were now crossing the street. They must really be in love...) I realize that my niece and nephew's are all standing there with this awe struck look on their faces. Finally my niece manages to squeak out, "are you okay?" and they all start hysterically laughing.

It was pretty funny and I am okay. I have learned my lesson, Don't steal your nieces scooter without asking first! I still need some practice to be good!

Happy independence day! I love you all! Thank goodness I live in America and I was born to a faithful family who love and live the Gospel.

Gag ME!

I started a new job yesterday, and quit four hours later. This may seem slightly flaky to you all. I can see the little thought conversation bubbles popping up above your heads as I am writing this. These bubbles are containing thoughts such as, "Yep, that is typical Helen, not wanting to really work." or "Oh that crazy Helen, she is such a slacker. When is she going to learn to suck it up and just do it?" There are many more I know that have been thought. But, ladies and gentlemen, I am here to assure you that these thoughts (though once upon a time they might have been true) are ridiculous! I will now proceed to tell you about the worst job ever!

I thought that I was qualified for the position. I was going to be working with adults with disabilities. No big deal. I have done various jobs of this sort for the past four year. I have done everything and seen everything...so I thought...

I was going to be working in a house full of guys. I was scheduled for the graveyard shift from 11 pm to 9 am. INTENSE! But I assured myself that I could do this! I am a big girl and I have gotten accustomed to putting my big girls pants on.

I went for my training shift, and that is when it all crumbled at my feet. I don't even know where to begin. My supervisor had made it sound like I was going to be working with someone and that the house was an easy one...uh no...I was going to be working alone with Men who had serious problems. (Sexual problems, among other things) I was starting to panic! There was no way I was going to be able to do this!OH MY GOODNESS! I could hardly breath! It was so awful, not to mention the longer I was with the house manager, the more I realized she was a genuinely horrible person. I have never heard someone swear so casually ever! I know swearing seems like such a little thing but when accompanied with dirty jokes it is the cherry on top of a rotten banana split.

The kicker was then when I realized why they had me sign a disclaimer stating that I was not allowed to sue the company for any psycological or physical damages that I may incur while working for them. They mentioned to me that one client was sex crazed and could get violent if not stratified...so I should watch my back. UMMMM...no that's not happening.

So, needless to say, I am looking for a different job. ugh...I hate job hunting. I have applied for a position down at reams to work in their bakery. It would be a pretty sweet deal.

Oh boy, I am still in shock about everything...ugh...I just can't believe it. Wish me luck and maybe say a prayer that I will get the bakery job. It would be pretty amazing!

Garage Work

I am writing this blog to you live from the Wilson's garage in Salt lake City Utah. I know I am that cool. Mostly I was cleaning out Doug, my car. I was listening to pandora when I decided to get on to facebook and check something out real fast. When I noticed a ridiculous trend...People getting married at such a young age.

I would like to take a second and have an indepth talk with you all about this issue.

I love the church and I believe with all of my heart that it is true. I would love to remind you all that it is in no way church council for individuals to get married so young. I have never heard a prophen bust out and say, get married right after your mission or girls get married as quickly. (Not that I have much room to talk, but I would like you to know that I have learned from my mistakes and now see the folly of my ways.)

I am not against marriage, I would just like to remind you that in american society we don't fully reach maturity until around the age of twenty five or twenty six. I know it is an insane statistic but 100 % accurate I assure you.

Being single is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love having the independence of not having to worry about another individual or about any little kiddies. Few...I am doing just fine with enjoying my nieces and nephews. I get them when they are happy and pass them back over when they need something other than fun.

Okay, what brought this on is a couple of factors. On facebook almost every group I have joined has been a "WE ARE GETTNG MARRIED YAY!" Group. Congratulations to you all, I am very happy for you. (The one exception to this group is the "I bet this pickle can get more fans than twilight" group, it seemed like a good cause.)
But if you are younger than 23 you are being silly. Most of you don't have a clue what is going on in the real world. The other thing that brought this on was that I just joined another one of the wonderful groups and the title of it was " adam and heather are finally getting married!" (names have been changed to assure privacy and discresstion) Umm...Im pretty sure I went on a date with this boy in April. WOW! They have been dating for so long...ummm...not.

What is wrong with Mormon Society? Why can't we seem to not date before getting married? I know that every mormon young adult lives in fear of "messing up." But im here to tell you if you play it smart there is not need to worry. Pay attention to what has been taught to us and it will all be okay. The plus side of this is that you will actually get to know the person before you marry them. Hormones aside! YAY!

Alrighty then, so In conclusion:

1- Boys, I knwo the 18 and 19 year old girls seem great but don't go trying to raise yourself a wife...give her sometime to grow up.

2-Girls, stop freaking out if you are older than 20 and not married, take sometime to grow and learn and become independent. Remember that school is for learning and not for finding a husband. Don't make that your focus.

3-Lets all try dating for more than a month before getting engaged...I think this sounds good...

There you have it. If I think of anything else I may just come back and add it.
Excuse the typos and errors. I have to run to the grocery store! Happy Dating!

Home...

I have now moved home from Logan. I almost cried as I was leaving the city...almost. I have loved my time in Logan and all that I have learned there.

Being home is and adventure. Mom and I are trying not to kill each other. It is going rather well right now...we will see how it is in three months. I hope okay.

I am lamenting the loss of friends. I don't really have any in slc anymore. Sigh, I will make some right? I hope so. sorry it has been so long. My life is a wreck right now! I have things everywhere!
